Mena Alexandera Suvari is an American actress, model and designer. She was born on 13 February 1979. After beginning her career as a model she soon transitioned into acting after appearing in guest roles on 1990's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. She debuted in film with the drama Nowhere which was which was released in 1997. Through her roles as a character in American Beauty - for which she was nominated to be awarded the BAFTA Award - and American Pie and American Pie, which earned her greater attention, she transitioned into bigger roles. After that, she appeared as the lead for the role of a protagonist in Sugar & Spice (2000) alongside American Pie star Jason Biggs. Spun the independent drama from 2002, and the Trauma, a (2004) thrillers both featured in her career. She also appeared in the HBO drama Six Feet Under in 2004 she was nominated as a member of the Outstanding Cast in the 2005 Screen Actors Guild Awards.
